Summary: "humidoe"
The humidor that I ordered was not the one that was sent, but it's nice and serves the purpose. The humidor I received did not have a humidity gauge and has a clear glass top. Still nice. Satisfied.

Summary: "Not particularly Impressed"
I bought one of these a couple weeks ago, and as with most purchasers of this humidor, I'm pretty new to cigars.
The idea was to get a humidor that would work without costing me a lot, since I am young and don't have a lot of extra money.
My first observation was that conditioning a humidor takes a good amount of time. I felt like it absorbed way more water than I thought it would, which made me nervous that there wasn't a good seal.
After having cigars in it now for a little over a week, they still look and smell good. I have yet to smoke one to see if they are maintained truly as well as they should be, but all indications point to that things are working.
There is one problem though that really does annoy me. Once the wood was prepared, the adhesive on the velcro used to attached the humidifier no longer held it in place. It seems every time I open the humidor to check on things (usually at least 2 days in between openings), the thing has fallen off the lid and into the base of the humidor. I suppose it still functions there, but it doesn't inspire any confidence, so I felt like the best I could give the product is 3 stars.
My conclusion: What I have seems to work, but if I could do it again, I would probably have spent a little more money on something I could be more confident in (and perhaps with a gauge so I could adjust the environment properly). It's likely I would have gone into a store and bought one in person where I could get a recommendation and feel the box close and examine the hinges before purchasing.

Summary: "Very Satisfied"
I'm just entering the world of cigar smoking, and this is my first humidor. The woodwork seems to be well-done; and the fit and finish are very nice. The hinges open and close nicely, there seems to be a good seal, and I haven't had any trouble thus far with the velcro on the humidifier.
I prepped the humidor and filled the humidifier with a propylene glycol solution about a month ago, and put some cigars in it. They seem to be holding up just fine, so I'm assuming the humidor's functionality is as good as its form.
All things considered, I'd definitely recommend it.

Husband was not expecting this for his birthday, so it was a nice surprise gift. Now to get him some real cigars to put in it!
